Nucs with MI queens mated July 2025 will be available early May 2026 and NUCs with queens mated May of 2026 will be available late May or early June.
Each nucleus colony includes the queen and her bees at least two frames of brood plus frames with honey, pollen and drawn comb, totaling 5 frames.
Nucs come in a vented Nuc box for easy transport.
I am flexible with pick up times.
My bees stay in Southwestern Michigan year round and I rear my own queens from overwintered Michigan stock.

Honeybees have only experienced west Michigan climate and environment.
Nuc will contain 2025 queen.
The honeybees create their 2025 queen from young brood within their own box.
The nucs should be ready late May into June.

Looking for a beekeeper interested in placing some hives on our property.
We own 70 acres (50 woods/20 grass land) with a 1 acre 18 ft. deep pond that has never been farmed so it is free of herbicides, pesticides, etc. At one time it was a private hunting preserve. One of the grassy fields that is nearby the formerly stocked pond is fairly isolated and enclosed by woods on 3 sides. We are placing this ad to see if there are beekeepers who might be interested in placing a few of their hives along the edge of this isolated field.
